We were VERY excited when we realised that our wonderful winter book Nip Nebs by Susi Briggs and Ruthe Redden had been featured on The Scottish Granny Facebook page. Just click on The Scottish Granny to follow the link. The page first went viral when the expatriate Scot, now living in Australia, was filmed reading the book The Wonky Donkey to her baby grandson. Since then the page has attracted more than 60,000 followers! As she’s originally from Ayrshire, south west Scotland, we thought she might like to see some of our books to remind her of home. We were thrilled when she was filmed reading our lovely story in Scots to her wee grandson Archer – who seemed to like it too, especially the taste of the pages! You can buy Nip Nebs, a story of how the character of Jack Frost weaves his magic of ice across a snowy landscape, direct from us on our shop page. It’s the perfect story to snuggle up with on a cold winter’s evening. There’s lots of pixies and woodland creatures to spot in the gorgeous illustrations by Ruthie Redden. And there’s an English translation at the back with a glossary for the Scots words.
