We recently attended the Scottish Book Trade conference in Edinburgh to take part in pitching two of our forthcoming books to a room full of booksellers.
We’re delighted to be publishing the charming story of Mustard and Pepper in June this year. The story by Alasdair Hutton was submitted to us by Fraser Ross Associates and we felt it was an opportunity we didn’t want to miss, especially as we knew an artist who we felt was perfect for the illustrations. Luckily Will Gorman, who is known for his pet portraits and humorous countryside cards and prints, agreed to create the pictures for the story of the children of Sir Walter Scott and their dogs. The stars of the tale are two Dandie Dinmont terriers – a breed named after a character in one of Sir Walter Scott’s famous novels.
We’ll keep you posted as things progress but you can also see regular updates on our facebook page or the page of Will Gorman Art – just follow the link.
