We’ve finished our mini Maxwell tour of Dumfries and Galloway libraries. It was a reminder to us of just how big our region is! Our trip to Langholm took us on a 180 mile round trip from our HQ near Wigtown. We had a great time and met some lovely children in Dumfries, Stranraer, Annan and of course Langholm. It was lovely to see how much children really enjoyed playing ‘old fashioned’ games like marbles – and the one Shalla invented called Morag’s Conker Game.
We had great fun ourselves and we’re glad we’ve got more events coming up this autumn so that we have an excuse to play games again. We’re going to be doing a mini book festival tour with appearances in Wigtown, Dunoon and Ilkley. Have a look at our events page to keep up to date with the details. Hope to see you there.
