It’s been a busy weekend for the Nip Nebs author and illustrator Susi Briggs and Ruthie Redden. They were at Waterstones in Dumfries for most of Saturday due to popular demand! They met lots of lovely people who are so enthusiastic about this little book in Scots. We’re getting great feedback from teachers who see the book as a great resource for the classroom as well as being a lovely read. On Sunday the team were over at the Curly Tale Books children’s bookshop in Wigtown to sign copies as part of the town’s Advent countdown to Christmas.
Susi and Ruthie have one more event before Christmas and they’ll be at the Scone Kitchen in Gatehouse of Fleet on Thursday 21st December between 4.30pm and 5.30pm. Susi will be reading the story but will also be hoping folk will come along and share their own favourite Christmas stories, poems and songs. All welcome.
